International Shipping
International shipping is charged based on the higher of the actual weight or the volumetric weight. The volumetric weight calculation is explained below.
  • Image Air Express Image Shipped by aircraft and can be received within 3-5 days from departure; boxes over 30kg actual weight cannot be loaded.
  • Image Post Office EMS Image The maximum weight is 30kg, and it takes 4-5 days.
  • Image Buytors Sea Freight Image Departs 3 times a week; the heavier or larger the item, the cheaper sea freight becomes. Received in about 7 days; sea freight is charged by actual weight only, regardless of volume.
  • Image Air Parcel Image The maximum weight is 30kg, and it takes 4-5 days.
  • Image Sea Parcel Image Takes 34 days or more; charged by the higher of volumetric or actual weight, with no weight limit. Sea shipping from the US is currently suspended.
Volumetric Weight Calculation
Image
Air Shipping
Japan → Korea : Width(cm) × Length(cm) × Height(cm) ÷ 5,000         |        US → Korea : Width(inch) × Length(inch) × Height(inch) ÷ 166
e.g.) If a box shipped from Japan to Korea is 10cm wide, 20cm long and 30cm high, 10×20×30÷5,000＝1.2. So the volumetric weight of this item is 1.2kg.
Sea Shipping
Japan → Korea : Only actual weight applies, not volumetric weight         |        US → Korea : Width(inch) × Length(inch) × Height(inch) ÷ 139
① For Japan air express, volumetric weight is not applied up to 30kg, and items over 30kg cannot be loaded. (However, volumetric weight applies if one side exceeds 150cm.) For the US, the heavier of the actual and volumetric weight applies.

② Items with an actual weight over 25kg, a side longer than 100cm, or a total of width, length and height over 180cm are handed over to Daesin Courier after arriving in Korea and shipped cash on delivery. The domestic COD fee is paid by the customer.
( Handover to Daesin Courier for items over 100cm per side / 25kg applies equally to air and sea shipping. )
